Taxi Fare from Incheon International Airport to Gangnam -gu

If taking bus is too complicated for you or doesn't go near your destination, then hiring a taxi from Incheon Airport to Gangnam is a practical and convenient option.

Taxi Price / Fare from Incheon Airport to Gangnam

The main concern about taking taxi to Gangnam is the taxi fare. For a one way trip from Incheon International Airport to Gangnam, the taxi fare or price is approximately 75,000Won to 95,000Won. Additionally, taxi passengers may also have to pay 8000Won Toll for Incheon Bridge tollgate fee (not included in taxi fare). If you take a taxi after 12:00 midnight to 4:00am, there is an additional midnight surcharge of 20% for regular taxi fare. 
If you have four people in a group, the price for taking taxi to Gangnam-gu is only slightly more expensive than bus because the bus ticket could easily cost KRW15,000 per person. Furthermore, taxi can take you directly from Incheon Airport to the door step of your hotel or destination in Gangnam. Most taxi from Airport are equipped with GPS which can find destination based on name or phone number. Therefore, you can give your hotel name to the dirver (e.g. Aloft Gangnam, Novotel Gangnam, Best Western Gangnam), or just give them the phone number of the hotel.
Most taxi in Seoul are equipped with credit card and T-Money card charging machine. Therefore, you don't have to worry about changing your money to Won until you get to downtown Seoul. 

Taxi from Gangnam-gu to Incheon International Airport 

The taxi fare for return direction to Incheon International Airport from Gangnam is similar, which is about KRW75,000 to KRW95,000. You can stop a taxi on the street or use the Korean taxi hire mobile app Kakao Taxi (Android, iPhone) (Something like Uber but for Korea Taxi) to hire a taxi to Incheon Airport from Gangnam-gu.
